Yesterday there were very interesting and eventful things that happened to me and things that I read, and encountered, that when I tried to go to sleep last night, I had a hard time getting to sleep as I was still processing everything. And, Daxy came home at about 10 and we talked and talked and talked in bed to catch up with our interesting days. We were both really tired today. He has meetings the next couple of days in the evening... and so it is making us really miss eachother. It is an interesting dynamic to think that our lives will be like this for a while. I think it would be different if I wasn't working a full time job and could be more involved in the things that he is doing. But, for now... it makes the heart grow fonder, that is for sure.
Dinner with Kate was fun, and she invited Tricia and I invited our friend Lisa that I met on the street to join us too. I had the most delicious Tuna Salad. I am still enjoying it today. Really... it was that good. We saw our friends there, celebrating a birthday and I had to fight feelings of being left out... as they were my friends too. But, of course, it isn't really about me ... is it? Sometimes my feelings simply bug me and I want to deny them. Seriously.
Still enjoying the Clarence Thomas book... but don't have time to read it. Erg.
